Greetings to all ISSA Members
and interested shooters:
Through the work and support of many, our association
continues the great traditions of schuetzen shooting
and competition. Next year we will celebrate the 25th
anniversary of the ISSA. Plans are underway to have
special, commemorative medals for all participants at
the 2006 international championships. We are also looking
at having recognition and awards for the ISSA members
who bring the most new participants (including junior
shooters) to the international.
For anyone who is not a current ISSA member and would
like to learn more about the sport, I would encourage
you to contact one of the board
of directors or a regional match director-- also
listed on this site-- for more information. I'm
sure that you will find some friendly, helpful folk
who would also be happy to either personally or through
ISSA members in your area, arrange for you to try your
hand with a schuetzen rifle.
