ISSA NEWSLETTER January 2003

Happy New Year ISSA Members:

I hope all is well and this New Year is on its way to a good one for you.

I have made a New Years resolution to practice more, learn to read the wind better and to improve mental concentration. However, this is the same resolution I've made for a number of previous years and some how I have not done the best job of sticking to it.

There is not a lot going on with the ISSA this time of year, but there is some information that I would like to share.

The results bulletin of our 2002 International Schuetzenfest is not yet completed and we apologize for this. Because of two separate computer failures we are running late. You can expect it in about three weeks.

The International Single shot Association Corporation has been moved back to the State of Colorado. This was done to bring the corporation and business together and be more in line with some business laws.

The International Championship match for 2003 will be August 3 - 9 at the NRA Whittington Center. Enclosed is a 2003 registration form.

This year's Regional schedule is finalized. We have implemented a $5.00 charge at Regional Matches for none ISSA members. If you registered for the 2002 Internationals you will be a current member until the 2003 International match. And will not have to pay the $5.00 fee. If you did not register for 2002 and pay the $5.00 registration fee at one of this years Regional Matches it can be deducted from the 2003 membership fee with a receipt from the Regional Match or Matches you have attended. This years schedule is enclosed.

Hal Prucha has been kind enough to allow us to link his schuetzen firearms photo gallery web site from our ISSA web site. Take a look when you get a chance there are some great pictures of fine firearms.

Cheers and Shoot Straight, Ron
